ACTIVITIES OF EEDISSIA

• The Association EEDISSIA has been started in 1980 and functioning effectively for the welfare of Entrepreneurs in ERODE DISTRICT.
• At present the Association is having about 1000 units of Individual Industries.
• The Association is having MOU with 47 Educational – Technical, Arts & Science colleges and conducting Entrepreneur Awareness Programmes among the young generation.
• The Association is one of the members in the Governing body of TBI of Bannari Amman Institute of Technology and Kongu Engineering College.
• Also having 20 various Associations as our Members.
• EEDISSIA is assisting more than 2000 MSME units for obtaining MSME Certificates in a year.
• This Association is also assisting for obtaining Bank Loans for more than 500 units under various Government Schemes like PMEGP, UYEGP, NEEDS ,
• The Association is helping the MSME Units in getting local body approval under Single Window System from the District Industries Centre and The District Collector.
• It is also assisting for getting raw materials, Government Purchasing Programme, for marketing the products and financial assistance with the help of NSIC.
• The Association solves the problem amicably of MSME Units with various departments like Electricity, Commercial Tax, Central Excise, Labour Department, and Pollution Department.
• EEDISSIA guides for MSME Units for availing subsidies from Government of India for having such as ISO Certification, obtaining Bar Coding, Overseas Marketing the products and Market survey in the Foreign Countries
• It also conducting various Marketing-Management Training Programmes to the Entrepreneurs for developing their units.
• The Association is conducting Government Programmes of Entrepreneur Development Program financed by EDI.
• Also conducting Bar Coding, Government Purchase and Export Training Programmes regularly.
• The skill Development programme and First Aid Training for workers and Entrepreneurs are being conducted.
• The Association helping for product cluster organized (eg) Coir Cluster at Nathakadaiyur, sanctioned by Government of India.
• It is also giving full guidance for starting MSME Units in Erode District.
• EEDISSIA is Conducting Industrial Trade Fair for Marketing the Products of Industries. Ero intec Exhibition conducted in 2013, 2014 and 2017. Now it is proposed to conduct 4^th Edition of Expo during September, 2019.
• Aid was provided to 400 families from Thiruvarur, Thiruthuraipoondi and Kudavasal districts who lost their belongings in the Gaja storm.
